About

With over 25 years of experience on the music scene, I am a professional musician who has performed in more than 2,000 shows across Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. An eclectic drummer, I have played with pop/rock, funk, reggae, blues, and jazz groups. My musical journey includes performing in various projects such as the Tribute to Rod Stewart (Alain Couture), the musical Danse Sing, Serge Fiori, SoNSuRyLuNa, the Time for Pink Floyd tribute, the musical Il était une fois un cabaret, Riot and the Rhythm Devils, Jimmy James, Canuel, and Angel Forrest, among others.

Beyond live performance, I also bring recording experience, having contributed to demos, videos, and albums with groups like SoNSuRyLuNa, Zekhul, Danse Sing, and Canuel.

Teaching

My teaching philosophy centers on the essentials—sharing my knowledge to ignite a passion for music in my students, while also guiding them to achieve excellence. To keep motivation high, I offer a diverse and comprehensive program, tailoring each lesson to suit my student’s individual needs and goals. 

Having prepared many students for Cégep and university auditions, I maintain a strong connection to post-secondary education and understand the standards required to succeed.

Through my ongoing work as a performing musician (see the About section for photos and audio clips), I’ve learned how to work efficiently while still embracing the fun, creativity, and freedom that music brings. Today, my greatest motivation is focused on transmitting my passion for music and learning to every student I teach, inspiring them to discover their own musical voice.
